Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use Pageloa: the website pageloa.com, the Pageloa Chrome extension and the Pageloa Figma plugin. By creating an account or using Pageloa you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy and our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
01 Who provides Pageloa
Pageloa is a software product developed and operated by Ibdaion, an independent digital design and software development business based in Egypt.
- Business location: Egypt
- Website: ibdaion.com
- Contact: hello@ibdaion.com
Paid subscriptions are processed through Paddle, acting as the Merchant of Record for those transactions (see "Subscriptions and payment"). In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Ibdaion as the provider of Pageloa.
02 Description of the service
Pageloa turns live websites into editable Figma designs:
- Website capture: the Chrome extension captures a page you open in Chrome, at the screen widths, themes and areas you choose.
- Editable Figma screens: the Figma plugin rebuilds the capture as frames, layers, text and images, using Auto Layout where it can.
- Responsive layouts: a page can be captured at several widths to produce desktop, tablet and mobile screens.
- Design system and components: colours, typography, spacing and effects can be extracted as styles and variables, and repeated elements as reusable components. Some of these are Pro features.
- Developer handoff: organised pages and documentation inside the Figma file.
- Account and usage services: pageloa.com manages your account, plan, connected apps and capture credits.
Capturing and rebuilding run on your own computer: the captured page travels from the extension to the plugin through your clipboard and is not uploaded to our servers. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what is sent to us.
Website reconstruction has limits. Results depend on how each website is built: some layouts, fonts, effects, animations, embedded content or protected pages may not be reproduced exactly, or at all. Review each result before relying on it.
03 Accounts and security
- You can create an account with an email address and a password. We send a verification link to that address, and the account is created only when you open it.
- You can also sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, or with Google where Google sign-in is offered. If you forget your password, you can ask for a reset link by email.
- You can try the Chrome extension without an account. This free trial is limited to that browser and moves into your account when you sign in.
- You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live. One account is for one person: do not share your sign-in details or resell access.
- Use an email address you control and keep your password and devices secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at hello@ibdaion.com straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- In your account you can see the browsers and apps that are signed in, and sign any of them out.
- You can delete your account at any time in your account settings. Deleting it sets any active Pro subscription to cancel at the end of the current billing period, so it does not renew. Pro access ends when the account is deleted, and the unused time is not refunded automatically (see our Refund and Cancellation Policy).
04 Acceptable use
Use Pageloa with websites you own, websites you have permission to reproduce, or for uses the law allows, such as studying, analysing or referencing a design. You must not:
- copy, publish or commercialise someone else's designs, content, logos or trademarks in a way that infringes their intellectual property or other rights;
- capture pages you are not authorised to access, or get around logins, paywalls or other access controls to do so;
- use Pageloa to collect or process other people's personal data unlawfully;
- attack, probe, overload or disrupt the Pageloa service, or call its servers with bots, scripts or other automated means instead of the official Pageloa apps;
- get around credits, plan limits, rate limits or security measures, create extra accounts or trials to obtain more credits, or share or resell Pro access;
- use Pageloa for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful.
You are responsible for the websites you capture and for how you use the results, including getting any permission you need. Nothing in these Terms restricts anything that applicable law expressly allows you to do.
05 Plans and usage credits
- Free: $0. 5 capture credits per monthly usage period, with the basic features.
- Pro Monthly: $9 per month. 500 capture credits per monthly usage period, with all Pro features.
- Pro Yearly: $24 per year. The same Pro features and 500 capture credits per monthly usage period. It is billed once a year, but its credits reset every month, not once a year.
How credits are counted:
- One credit is one page address captured successfully at one screen width. Capturing a page at three widths uses three credits.
- Capturing the same address at the same width again in the same usage period does not use another credit. Finding a website's pages before capturing them is free.
- Credits are reserved when a capture starts and charged only for the pages captured successfully. A capture that fails or is cancelled gives its credits back.
- Usage periods are monthly, starting from the day your account was created, and do not depend on your billing date.
- Unused credits do not roll over to the next period, cannot be transferred and have no cash value. No plan includes unlimited captures.
- Your plan, its features and your remaining credits are determined by our server. Pro features are available only while your plan is Pro.
06 Subscriptions and payment
Pro is sold through Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates), which acts as the Merchant of Record: Paddle is the seller of the subscription, processes the payment, calculates and collects applicable sales taxes, issues receipts and invoices, and handles payment questions. Your purchase is also governed by Paddle's buyer terms. We do not receive or store your card details.
- Prices are in US dollars. Any applicable tax depends on where you are; Paddle calculates it and shows the total at checkout before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, every month or every year, and are charged to your saved payment method until you cancel.
- Pro starts when Paddle confirms the payment to us. Paddle emails a receipt to the address used at checkout.
- If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may retry it. Pro stays active for a short grace period (currently 7 days) after the first failed renewal; if payment is still not received, your account works as Free until a payment succeeds or the subscription ends.
- With an active Pro subscription you can switch between monthly and yearly on the Billing page. Paddle shows the prorated amount before you confirm.
- The Billing page links to Paddle's customer portal, where you can see payments and invoices, update your payment method and cancel.
- We may change prices. A new price applies to an existing subscription only from a renewal after we have told you in advance by email or in your account, and you can cancel before it applies.
07 Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time: sign in, open Billing and choose Cancel subscription (handled in Paddle's customer portal). If you cannot get into your account, email hello@ibdaion.com from the address on your account.
- Cancelling stops future renewals. It takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- Pro stays active until that date; then your account moves to the Free plan. Your account and the Figma files you created are not deleted.
- Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period.
To ask for a refund, follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Refunds are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record under Paddle's buyer terms. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or withdrawal rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
08 Intellectual property
Pageloa, its software, design and brand belong to Ibdaion or the relevant rights holders. Under these Terms we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Pageloa while you have an account in good standing.
You keep your rights in the original content you create, including your own design work in the Figma files Pageloa produces.
Pageloa gives you no ownership of, or licence to, the third-party website content, designs, images, fonts, trademarks or other copyrighted material you capture. These remain their owners' property, and you are responsible for having the rights you need to use them.
09 Availability and limitations
- Pageloa is in early access: it works today and is still being improved.
- Pageloa depends on Google Chrome (or another Chromium browser) and Figma. Changes by those platforms, by the websites you capture, or to your device, network or browser settings can affect what Pageloa can do.
- We work to keep Pageloa available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it can reproduce every website.
- We may update, change or remove features. If a change removes a Pro feature you pay for, we will tell you in advance where we can, and you can cancel.
- The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control. We try to keep interruptions short.
10 Liability
To the extent the law allows, Pageloa is provided "as is" and "as available", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business or data, arising from your use of Pageloa.
Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid for Pageloa in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud, and nothing limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
11 Suspension and termination
- You can stop using Pageloa at any time, cancel your subscription and delete your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms, is used for fraud, or puts the service, our users or others at risk. Where appropriate we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem; in urgent cases, such as a security incident, we may act straight away.
- When an account is closed, the right to use Pageloa ends and the account data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. If we close your account without a serious breach on your part, contact us about the unused part of any paid period.
- Parts of these Terms that by their nature should continue after termination, such as intellectual property, liability and disputes, continue to apply.
12 Governing law and disputes
These Terms are subject to applicable laws and mandatory consumer protection requirements. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. For questions or disputes relating to Pageloa, contact hello@ibdaion.com.
Please contact us first if something goes wrong: most problems can be solved quickly. Questions about a specific charge can also be raised with Paddle at paddle.net.
13 Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Pageloa changes. For important changes we will tell you by email or in your account before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using Pageloa after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply; if you do not agree, you can stop using Pageloa and delete your account.
